- Psychopathological mechanisms in disorders of emotion regulation and social cognition (e.g. ADHD, ODD/CD, autism spectrum disorders, OCD) in childhood, adolescence and young adulthood
- Risk- and resilience factors (stress, trauma, family history)
- Socio-emotional development in childhood, adolescence, and across the lifespan (Theory of Mind, emotion recognition and – regulation, empathy) and underlying brain development -> longitudinal studies
- Improving methods and approaches in (Clinical) Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience
