December Meeting on "Smell and Taste" supported by the Working Group on Olfaction and Gustation of the German ENT society, 6./7. December 2024 in Basel

Dear colleagues:
We would like to invite you to the December Meeting on "Smell and Taste" which is supported by the Working Group on Olfaction and Gustation of the German ENT society, on the 6./7. December 2024. The program starts on Friday at 13.30h, and finishes on Saturday at 15:00h.
The meeting will be international, congress languages are German and English. Talks may be presented in German or English, but we kindly request slides to be written in English.
Location
Lecture Hall 2/Hörsaal 2, Building B, University Hospital Basel, Spitalstrasse 21.
Registration, Scientific Program:
Registration on Friday, Dec 6, from 1:00 p.m., scientifc program from 1.40 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Continuation of the scientific program on Saturday Dec 7, 8.30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The tour and the dinner
Please let us know if you are a vegetarian, or if you have any allergies that should be considered.
Excursion: Kunstmuseum Basel, St. Alban Graben 8 in Basel (see map); the museum can be reached from the lecture hall by foot (20 minutes) or by tram (15 minutes). The 1-hour tour starts at 6:15 p.m.
Dinner: from 7.30 p.m. in the St. Alban Eck restaurant, St. Alban Vorstadt 60 (5 minutes walk from the museum) (see map)
Fee
Fee for participation is 80 Euro/80 CHF; for students it is 30 Euro/30 CHF. For participants with an industrial background the participation fee is 300 Euro/300 CHF.
Fees can be paid cash in CHF (no credit cards!) on registration or by TWINT (https://www.twint.ch/en/?lang=en)
Important remarks
Presentations can be brought on a USB key.
If you bring a MAC – please bring an adapter for HDMI
Please note that in Switzerland there are power outlets which possibly differ from your standard. Please bring an adapter!
