Clinical internship
A large number of students complete the PJ in Urology. Also students come to us for a famulatur or clinical internship in our department. Our primary goal is to integrate future colleagues into the team of our clinic as best as possible. As a student, you have the opportunity to learn a variety of activities under competent guidance and to gain experience in all areas of the clinic. During the practical year a rotation takes place in all areas of the department. The students are thus taught the entire spectrum of urology within a tertial.
In addition to the practical year we also offer the opportunity to get a clinical traineeship in urology at short notice.
Informationen about clinical internship - PJ
Clinical internship students are always welcome in the Department of Urology and receive interesting insights into the clinical process. A frequent use as an assistent in urological operations of all difficulty level is plannede and adequate remuneration is guaranteed.

- The Department of Urology is interested in winning qulalified students for the clinical internship in urology. For this reason the students at the clinical internship are offered a scholarship of € 400/month.
Training goals
- The practical year/clinical internship in the urological department focuses on participation in inpatient patient care and regular participation in a broad spectrum of urological operations/surgery. Part of the practical year is also completed in our outpatient ambulance. At the same time, the students are granted enough time for self -study.
