Education Training Career
The Department of Urology combines the entire spectrum of urological diseases and their surgical and medical therapies. The clinic has three normal urological wards, a urological guard station and five operating theatres and is equipped with the latest technology. Minimally invasive surgical techniques including robotic surgery and the entire spectrum of urological surgery are integrated into the treatment concepts. Structured training in the various areas with rotation through all areas of the clinic has been established. A fully equipped research and routine laboratory and a clinical study center also offer all opportunities for scientific training.

WECU - The Continuing Education Curriculum of the German Society for Urology (DGU)
Our Department was certified as a DGU Continuing Education Center in August 2022. The Urology Continuing Education Curriculum of the German Society for Urology e. V. is aimed at junior doctors with the aim of improving the quality of urological training and making it even more attractive.
