Introductory Online Master Course "Reconstruction of the Middle Ear 2024"

The course will be held live on May 27^th, 2024

Due to the enormous demand with a limited number of participants, we have decided on a complementary course format: a chaired online course with interactive operations and lectures in real time.

The online course program begins at 08:30 CET and ends at 16:00 CET (8:30 A.M. through 4 P.M. Berlin time).

During this time, you will first be joining us live in the operating room for tympanoplasty surgery Q&A. The live surgery will be hosted by our top surgeons and experts, who will gladly take your questions and give you first-hand insight into current operating techniques.

Thereafter, you will have the opportunity to learn more with specially tailored instructional videos.

In the afternoon, meet our top surgeons and leading scientists as well as selected international guest faculty, who will be holding live lectures and finish up the course with additional Q&A.

Participation fee for the course including all of the above is 190€. For your participation, you will receive an official certificate.

The course is held online via WebEx. Registered participants will receive a private link to the conference call about one week prior to the event.

LECTURES

14:00 - 16:00 CET (2 P.M. - 4 P.M. Berlin time)

Get an overview about the biomechanics of the middle ear.

Learn more about surgical techniques for the different operation types and get tips and tricks from our experienced surgeons.

Topics include:

• Tympanic membrane reconstruction (techniques and materials)
• Ossiculoplasty - Coupling of partial and total prostheses, positioning, optimal length etc.
• Stapesplasty techniques - biomechanical basics to improve hearing results

At the end of the course, you will receive an official certificate.
