International Course on Biomaterials and Techniques for Mastoid Obliteration
JUNE 8-9, 2023 - International surgeons are visiting Dresden ENT-ORL this week for an advanced course on scientific and clinical evidence in using alloplastic and autologous bone replacements.
The course, lead by Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Thomas Zahnert and Prof. Dr. med. Marcus Neudert, includes live surgery, video presentations, scientific talks and "Meet the Expert" discussion panels.

- Obliteration of radical cavity
- Mastoid obliteration in cholesteatoma surgery
- Bone regeneration and harvesting of bone meal
- Obliteration: bone meal or bioactive glass?
- Obliteration and active middle ear implants
Special highlight is an a guest lecture by Jussi Sarin of the University of Turku:
