THE 14^TH DRESDEN SYMPOSIUM ESPR SPRING SCHOOL

Thursday - Saturday, March 9^th - 11^th 2023

Dear friends and colleagues,

with great pleasure we invite you to our 14th annual „Dresden Symposium”, the ESPR spring school.

The meeting in March has become the kick-off for the academic year of clinicians and researchers who are interested in improving care of new-borns. During the past decade, we had the honour to host many dear friends and colleagues in Dresden and to provide an atmosphere for scientific exchange.

In order to cope with the current situation, we currently plan to have the meeting in 2023 within a hybrid setting. We would be very happy if we can welcome you in person in Dresden. As already introduced a decade ago, we will also provide online access for participants who are not able to come. We hope to keep the spirit of the meeting alive and to provide a platform for intensive exchange between clinicians and scientists who are interested in Delivery Room Management and in new developments in neonatology. In order to cover a broad range of relevant topics we have invited speakers to cover the following topics:

• How to treat the intra-uterine child and the extra-uterine fetus.
• Recent advances on stem cell research and on the treatment of asphyxiated infants.
• Experimental and clinical data on perinatal transition challenging current held beliefs.
• How to treat the periviable infant in the delivery room.
• What is the best way to teach delivery room management.
• Young investigators present their research projects.

The programme is divided into two parts: on Thursday and Friday, you will have the opportunity to attend cutting-edge lectures in Delivery Room Management and new approaches in Neonatology.
On Saturday, the highly-interactive ESPR courses offer a chance to young clinicians from different parts of the world on pertinent to optimal perinatal management and quality improvement.

As always, we are interested to provide the opportunity for intensive discussions. Therefore, we restrict the meeting on Thursday and Friday in person to 150 participants.

If you register until January 30^th, 2023 there will be a charge of 120 €, thereafter of 150 €.
Furthermore, there will be a separate charge for ESPR-course on Saturday. There will be no charge for online participants, however, you are required to register at Sabine Resch.
If you are not available, you will have the chance to watch the recording of the meeting thereafter.
