The Dresden University Medicine is a leader in the treatment of complex, particularly severe, or rare diseases. Through the close integration of research, teaching, and patient care, innovative therapeutic methods and the latest research findings can be quickly and directly implemented in the treatment of our patients.
To test new forms of treatment, therapies, or medications for their effectiveness and tolerability, clinical trials are required. Dresden University Medicine conducts numerous such clinical studies. By participating in clinical trials, patients have the opportunity to voluntarily undergo new therapeutic methods, drug applications, or other medical interventions at an early stage and under strict control conditions.
