Postdoc in Translational Melanoma Research (f/m/x)

This Position is limited for 36 months. The postdoc will investigate the role of nuclear caspase-8 in wild-typ p53 expressing tumors in a translational approach. Our Lab is specifically interested in dissecting of signal transduction networks within malignant melanoma, aiming to identify alternative therapeutic targets.

Your Profile:

  • an excellent PhD with publication record
  • proven experience in the experimental work with primary cell culture and tumor handling
  • good knowledge in cell biology (confocal microscopy, immunohistochemical analysis)
  • expertise in molecular biology (cloning, sh/siRNA knock-down, CRISPR-Cas9 technology, cell death assays)
  • skills in sequence and database Analysis
  • ability and motivation to work independently and to develop a research field
  • good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • team working skills
