Prof. Dr. med. Angela Hübner

Angela HübnerThe Medical Faculty in Dresden has committed itself to the establishment of several professorships bridging basic and clinical sciences strongly supporting female scientists in leading positions. Prof. Hübner, chair of Endocrinology in the Department of Paediatrics, is one of the leading scientists in developmental adrenal disorders such as the triple A syndrome. In addition to animal models, she has a large patient cohort with this disorder and has an established reputation in working with the gene product of AAAS and its modification by oxidative stress.
