Dresden Research Connections
Dresden has developed a strong research environment benefiting from a close link of the Medical Faculty with the Max-Planck Institutes (MPI-CBG). This has resulted in the successful implementation of a DFG Excellence Cluster for Regenerative Therapies (CRTD), a centre grant (SFB 655) “From Cells into Tissue” a comprehensive cancer centre supported by the state of Saxony. Furthermore, Dresden is a member of the newly established Gesundheitszentren in the field of cancer, diabetes and neurodegeneration.
